MISMATCHED FRAMESat home in the curious city

I finally put up the last of the framed constellations. I love it, except the spacing is not perfect. I am going to have to take all of them down and start over. I'm not happy with it. I think I'll also have to add some sticky tack in the back to keep it straight.

Today, I wanted to share my original inspiration for choosing these frames. It's from the self-made interior decorator's holy grail: Domino. Excuse the grainy screenshot...but sooo inspirational!!! Love it. I love it. You love it too!!

What makes it work is that the frames are essentially the same size, shape, and silhouette. The only thing that differs is the color. The different colors keep it interesting, and it's a great way to frame a series of artwork.
