EAST-WEST RINGSgirl in the curious city

I first saw an east-west ring on Once Wed, and I thought it was so pretty. I think this one is a vintage ring from De Vera Objects. Either I started to notice the east-west setting more or that setting has just become more common. Isn't it visually unexpected?
