At Ikea, I stocked up on items needed for future projects (one I'll post tomorrow!), and I stayed under $50 - just barely! I never knew they had a hearty breakfast for only $1.99, and the restaurant at Ikea was packed. I had to get my favorite meatball plate, though.
Saturday night was a lazy night, where Cindy and I sipped some Sauv Blanc from St. Supery. We had a semi homemade dinner with pork ribs from Whole Foods, corn, and salad with poppyseed dressing (we miss you Intermezzo!). We met more friend at the bar down the street, Maitreya. Contrary to my previous experiences at Maitreya years ago, it had a lounge-y feel without a crazy dance floor. The mixed drinks were yum, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had a dinner menu - will try in the future!
I ended the weekend at my parents'. There was an impromptu family gathering with the whole extended family minus one or two of simple but delicious homemade Korean food. Mmm my mom is a better cook than your mom! : P
